Forest Dryad Products, is a cottage industry, located in the Catskill forest of New York State. Production takes place in our dedicated, solar heated, photo voltaic powered facility. We provide a unique suite of high quality hand-crafted products to help you reach your specific health goals. We've been using mushrooms for their medicinal, (and culinary), properties for years and are now offering the best forms of these to you. Our product line is based upon the well documented health enhancing properties of wild mushrooms. These include numerous double-blind studies that have appeared in peer-review journals.

 

Our plans include expanding the line to offer the various additional extracts, capsules, blends and skin/hair care products. All based upon organic extractors and  locally gathered  wild mushrooms.

 

Our Mushroom Based Mission

If you believe, as we do, that much of what 'ails' modern society is the result of immune system issues- you have come to the right place to find natural solutions to your health and nutritional supplement needs. In addition to the multiple imunomodulating benifits, found in the literature and described on the pages for each of the mushrooms we use, personal and anecdotal information from regular users of our Chaga extract point to the fact that the product may substantially enhance both libido and sexual performance in both sexes.

 

We offer our Chaga, Reishi Turkey Tail and  Maitaki extracts primarily as a 3:1 blend of artesian - well water decoction, and certified organic sugarcane alcohol tincture. We do this for two reasons: primarily to be certain that the full spectrum of the active elements are extracted, (see our Preparation page), and secondly the high alcohol content of the product prevents spoilage.

 

Because 'raw' chaga mushrooms are not easily digested, we do not offer powdered chaga capsules. We do, however, offer [on special order], our mushrooms in the form of a water extraction, for individuals who wish to avoid ingesting the alcohol in our "double extraction'. We also offer dried, ground- Maitaki, Turkey Tail and Reishi in organic, vegitarian, green capsules for those who prefer capsules, as these make many of the healthful constituents of this mushoom available.

 

Note: We gather all of our mushrooms, in a conservative fashion on our own and other private lands within the Catskill state forest. Our methods for the  production of concentrated liquid extracts  use dramatically less natural resources than the powdered extract equivalent. They have a long shelf-life, high levels of potency and take effect more quickly because they absorbs directly into the bloodstream via the capillaries underneath the tongue. This kind of sublingual administration completely bypasses the need for digestion and means that the mushroom's active constituents are in the bloodstream within a couple of minutes.
